Here at Mike's Drywall Service, Inc., we have a commitment to excellence that we instill in each project we complete. The primary way that we achieve such a high-quality level of craftsmanship and work is by utilizing a process that ensures the work is completed properly. For instance, we begin all projects, including drywall repair and drywall installation, by masking off areas to ensure the environment is dust-free.
All sheetrock is then secured with screws. Following this, we make all seams and joints flat to ensure that there are no humps within the area. Once this has been finished, we sponge all edges around the repairs to avoid any lines that may be visible after painting the area.
Drywall Texture Matching
We also utilize what's known as drywall texture matching to ensure all textures are consistent. Our employees take extra time to perform this properly. Lastly, the area receives a final cleaning, and any trash from the project is hauled off. We always want to pay attention to the smallest things in the projects we do, which is why we utilize stages of production with our work.
First, we check the framing before hanging the sheetrock. Next, we cut out areas that have pipes, straps, or any other objects. This is done to eliminate any crooked lines or unsightly bulges.
Dust-Free
Comprehensive masking will be completed to ensure that the environment is dust-free before the project fully begins. We will also caulk corners in the living area if it's necessary to do so.
Any concrete areas that are exposed are covered beforehand; this includes any patios, porches, or garage floors. We'll sweep up and pick up any nails or trash. Tubs are then completely cleaned out. Finally, we provide a pre-paint touch-up.
